Dear Incognito friends,
As Franklin County has just transitioned into the yellow phase, we are still not able to open per the Governors rule and most importantly for the safety of our crew and wonderful clients. However, we are starting to prep the shop to open back up for when we go into the green phase. As soon as we have a 'green phase' date, we will be calling our cancelled appointments first, and taking new appointments by phone. There will be some changes that will be implemented to reduce any chances of spreading Covid to each other. We have always been a very clean shop and used PPE, and now we will be stepping up our game even more! All of our artists and staff will be wearing masks, protective eyewear and disposable aprons. We will be open on an ‘appointment only’ basis indefinitely and will not be a ‘walk-in’ shop until we feel comfortable to do so again. We will be working in shifts and our schedules will be minimal, for the moment. There will never be more than two artist working at the same time and their stations will be at least 6 feet away from one another. To help you transition into this new way of tattoo shop life, please take our new rules into consideration:
1. Please come alone. If you are not getting tattooed or pierced, we ask that you either stay home or wait in your car. Please also bring minimal personal items with you to the shop, we will provide you with a plastic bag upon entry for your things.
2. Face covering is absolutely mandatory and you will not be allowed into the shop without one. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you.
3. We ask that you either wait outside on the sidewalk bench or wait in your car until your artist calls on you to come in to the shop. We will be ready to perform the procedure upon immediate entry.
4. When you enter the studio, we ask that you immediately sanitize your hands at our hand sanitizing station.
5. After your hand sanitizing, you will fill out the consent form and we will screen you (asked a series of questions), to make sure you meet the criteria of good health. If you fail the screening, you will be asked to leave and reschedule for another time. You will not lose your deposit.
6. If you need to leave the studio at any time during your procedure, we asked you again sanitize your hands and keep your mask on upon reentry.
7. While in the studio, we ask that you please practice social distancing as best as you can. As much as we love our clients, we will not be giving hugs and handshakes or high-fives at this time. Please don’t take it personally.
We appreciate you cooperating with our new way of running a shop out of respect for all of our health and the health of our families. If you are not willing to follow these guidelines or if you feel uncomfortable with getting tattooed or pierced at this time, we will gladly reschedule you and your deposit will not be lost with first cancellation/reschedule.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions! Love, the crew of Incognito Tattoo
